This week in Cwmderi Dani’s in a quandary while in Shieldinch Alex is at his wits end

This week in the Scottish and Welsh soap operas…

Over in Cwmderi, the holes in Angharad’s story become more evident as Gaynor finds proof of her recent trip to Australia. Dani’s in a quandary when she learns of Aled’s involvement in DJ’s hit and run.

Angharad manages to make Hywel believe that Gaynor’s mind is playing tricks on her. Kath comes up with a plan to give DJ and Non some time alone.

As her life crumbles around her, Gaynor puts everything on the line in order to seek revenge. Lisa offers Garry her services in a bid to help him win Jaclyn back.

DJ realises that he must make a big decision regarding his future with Sioned. Izzy tries persuading her mother to move on with her life but Gaynor struggles as she’s riddled with guilt.

Monday in Shieldinch…

Alex is at his wits end when he discovers Amber double-crossed Tyler Foulkes over a drugs deal.

Lenny fumes when he finds out the damage Amber has done. She smarts at his interference and Alex is angry when Lenny makes a startling revelation.

Meanwhile, Poppy struggles to cope in the aftermath of her stalking ordeal. Jac tries to make peace for not believing her but Poppy rejects the olive branch. Later, Poppy is cold and dismissive when Stevie attempts to rebuild their relationship, unable to forgive him for not supporting her more. As far as Poppy’s concerned, it’s over.

She finds an unlikely shoulder to cry on in Scarlett, who opens up about the domestic abuse she suffered in the past and how she moved on. Scarlett makes Poppy realise she’s a survivor, not a victim. Just as she gathers strength to move on, Poppy is blindsided by some devastating news from Jac.

Stevie feels utterly despondent about where his life is going.

In Glanrafon the mystery of Iestyn’s disappearance is finally explained, but things go from bad to worse for the family as Anest accuses him of drug dealing.

John is also facing a mystery at the garage as he discovers that someone has broken in to one of the vehicles overnight. John is determined to find out who the culprit is, but it is no mean task.

Philip has reached the end of his tether at the cafe following the incident with the hamster and he threatens serious action. He’s frustrated with the lack of customers at the cafe, but not as frustrated as Glenda – and Sophie – by the end of the day things are getting messy in Cilbedlam for a number of reasons.

Rownd a Rownd, Tuesday and Thursday 8.25 pm, S4C

Wednesday in Shieldinch…

Lenny regains control over the Murdoch business empire, determined to make things right with the Foulkes family before it’s too late. Determined to protect Jessie. Alex comes to the conclusion it’s time to leave Shieldinch for good – but only once peace is restored again.

However, when Lenny’s mission to pacify Tyler misses the deadline, Alex becomes a target – the Foulkes aren’t a family you disrespect without consequence.

Meanwhile, Poppy lives in fear knowing Cameron is out on bail. Stevie offers Poppy reassurance, sharing his experiences of living with violence in the past. When he reveals he had to go away to clear his head, it gives Poppy food for thought.

Poppy decides to leave Shieldinch, devastating Stevie. Seeing her son so unhappy, Scarlett urges Stevie to follow his heart. But his grand gesture falls short and he’s left heartbroken.

Dylan arrives home full of unanswered questions for Eve about much she knew about Cameron’s stalking shame. Eve confides in Jac about her guilt and the part she played in making Cameron the dangerous man he’s become – he targeted women that reminded him of her.
