This week in Pobol y Cwm and Rownd a Rownd

The latest goings-on, this coming week, in Cwmderi and Glanrafon…

Tyler comes up with a public way to ease his conscience regarding his past mistakes. In the meantime, Garry appeals to Dani to drop the charge against him.

Arwen has an unexpected surprise on her birthday when she learns that Jinx has been keeping a secret. Over in Llwyncelyn, tensions rise as Hywel accuses Gaynor of not grieving for Izzy. The community of Cwmderi is shaken when a swastika is painted on Iolo and Tyler’s house. As the villagers guess who the perpetrator is, Iolo blames it all on Tyler.

Pobol y Cwm, S4C, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8 pm, English and Welsh subtitles, omnibus on Sunday with on-screen English subtitles

There’s much excitement in the village today as the boys take Arthur out, and the girls take Iris, to celebrate their upcoming big day. Arthur has been looking forward to this evening for days; not everyone shares his enthusiasm, but they are all equally shocked to see the special guest at the restaurant.

Quite a few people are suffering after over-doing it at Arthur and Iris’s parties last night. Ken hasn’t been out drinking for a long time and is feeling it this morning, and as he tries to shift his hangover, he receives another blow.

Carwyn is suffering in a different way – his world has been turned upside down and it will take a lot of effort from Gwenno and Iestyn to persuade him that his future is here with them.
