Pick of the Plots: Monday 17th July

It’s the day of Kathy and Rocky’s wedding, and the events of the stag night are playing on Rocky’s mind. After seeking advice from Sonia, Rocky comes clean to Kathy, who is gutted by his confession.

Kathy shares her doubts about the wedding with Elaine, not sure she’s going to go through with it, but when Ben arrives with a surprise, will she change her mind?

As Rocky waits at the registry office, he’s horrified when Jo arrives with some news that could further jeopardise the wedding.

Meanwhile, Sharon implores Keanu to come clean to Phil but he’s worried that he’ll lose access to Peggy. Sharon goes to see Phil and begs him to let Keanu see Peggy and to hear him out. When Keanu is evasive, Sharon blurts out the truth.

Elsewhere, Lily is horrified that Theo is her mum’s wedding date, and Stacey doesn’t remember leaving a drunken voicemail asking Martin to be her plus one instead. It’s awkward when Martin shows up just after Theo and suggests she ditches him. Stacey has a decision to make.

Also, Ravi asks Phil to give Chelsea her job back as a favour to him.

Spider receives a text telling him to follow instructions or Toyah will be killed. Arriving at an area of wasteland, Spider sees the kidnapper has a gun. Suddenly, a shot rings out.

Meanwhile, Elaine is mortified when Audrey tries to talk to her about her supposed depression. She confides that she’s having doubts about Stephen but Audrey reassures her.

When Stephen hears how a potential buyer for the factory is having a terrible time as his wife’s life insurance won’t pay out after she took her own life, he screws up the fake suicide note and hides it. When Stephen hears Mary chatting about Isabella needing some hiking boots so she doesn’t fall to her death in the Peak District, he is given food for thought.

Begging Elaine to give him another chance, Stephen suggests a romantic break in the Peak District. Whilst Elaine heads off to pack, Stephen checks over her life insurance.

Elsewhere, Aadi flirts with Amy as she arrives for work. When Dev reveals that Asha is going to show Amy the ropes while they go for a round of golf with Darren, a local entrepreneur, Aadi is disappointed.

Darren reveals his business plans to Dev, who suggests Aadi might like to be his right-hand man. Aadi accepts the job.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Mary receives a message from an unknown number asking to meet. Mary is thrown to see Faye looking dishevelled.

Determined to remain steely in the face of her tormentor, Mary is shocked to discover that Faye has been sleeping in her car. She’s thrown when Faye tells her she loves her and begs her for a fresh start.

The conversation takes a turn when Faye attempts to blackmail Mary. In possession of a private photo, Faye demands that Mary either change her witness statement or she’ll send a non-consensual nude photo of her to all of her contacts.

Meanwhile, Manpreet urges Rishi to give his son the full story about his biological dad. Rishi finally agrees to try to reconcile with Jai, but he’s left devastated when his son blanks him.

Elsewhere, Gabby tries to come up with a revenge plot.
