You Bet! On Tour, hosted by Stephen Mulhern, is coming to ITV for a brand new series, this time bigger and braver than ever, as it hits the road for more epic and unique challenges. Holly Willoughby has gone as the new six-part series and a further Christmas special sees Catchphrase and In for a Penny host Mulhern take charge of the series alone. Although it isn’t entirely the end of Holly’s association with the programme…

Stephen Mulhern:

“I’m absolutely thrilled that You Bet! is back – and this time we’re hitting the road! Each week I’ll be joined by a top celeb panel, as our challengers take on some brilliantly bonkers and amazing challenges. With the title of You Bet Champion on the line, it’s going to be unbelievable from the start.”

ITV promise the forthcoming episodes will be ‘crammed full of mind-blowing feats, big name celebrities and nail-biting suspense.’

Stephen Mulhern & Holly Willoughby hosted two specials last year of the revived You Bet!

The second run of the show, which first aired on ITV back in 1988 with Sir Bruce Forsyth overseeing proceedings, is heading out of the studio as the entire show goes on location for the first time. Previously challenges have been done on location, but never the entire hour-long programme.

As always You Bet! sees a panel of celebrities including Holly Willoughby, Zoe Ball, Rob Beckett, Alex Brooker, Rylan Clark, Alesha Dixon, Alison Hammond, Babatunde Aléshé, Josie Gibson, Danny Jones, Eddie Kadi, Judi Love, Oti Mabuse, Nick Mohammed, AJ Odudu, Will Best, Greg Rutherford, Adam and Ryan Thomas, Johnny Vegas and Josh Widdicombe join Stephen at a different location across the UK.

With the panel closer to the action than ever before, they must predict whether each plucky challenger can complete their challenge… or not! From supersized adrenaline-fueled action to smaller, quirkier skills, each challenger is competing for a £5,000 cash prize, while the panellists vie to become that week’s You Bet Champion.

You Bet! On Tour is a Rollercoaster Television production, part of ITV Studios, for ITV1 and ITVX, STV and STV Player. You Bet! is based on the successful format Wanna bet? from German pubcaster ZDF.

In other ITV Studios news they this week confirmed the line up of brand new entertainment show, SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters with Ade Adepitan, Helen George, Sir Lenny Henry, Ross Noble, Dougie Poynter, Lucy Punch and Rachel Riley all signed up to appear.
