The winners have been gonged as voted for by the British viewing and listening public…
Today the spotlight was firmly on the UK’s favourite faces and shows as the 2025 TRIC Awards, in partnership with Euronics, lit up London with a spectacular celebration of talent across TV, radio and online media.
Hosted by TRIC President Dan Walker, the event welcomed close to 1,000 guests and featured a show-stopping live performance by Magic Radio’s Lemar, setting the tone for an evening of excitement and recognition.
This year’s winners, from much-loved personalities to standout shows, were decided by a million votes from the British Public. Categories spanned traditional broadcast as well as streaming and podcasts, reflecting the evolving media landscape. The 2025 TRIC Awards prove once again that while platforms may change, the UK public’s love for great content and the people behind it, remains stronger than ever.

Unsurprisingly after a year of well-written and produced drama EastEnders won the soap gong, leaving the ITV offerings surely now wondering what has gone wrong. Bradley Walsh took the TV personality honour and Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden was bestowed Best Radio Show. There will also be celebrations at GB News as their breakfast show won Best News Programme. A Place In The Sun picks up the top Best Daytime award.
In drama it was Call The Midwife that took the crown while for game shows The 1% Club was victorious and in entertainment Jeremy Clarkson’s farming offering won.
TRIC – the Television and Radio Industries Club – was formed in 1931 and established in the early days of broadcasting as the Radio Industries Club. This year’s awards raised money for UWC Atlantic and Bright Young Dreams.
