Pick of the Plots: Thursday 9th January
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and Doctors.
Keegan and Bailey pay Chantelle a visit but she is clearly on edge and things get worse when Jags and Vinny also show up with Jags trying to flirt with her. Kheerat arriving is the final straw for Chantelle and she abruptly asks everyone to leave.
Meanwhile, Karen lays into Honey when she hears Janet isn’t taking part in the pageant. Honey changes her mind and Lola later tells Billy about what happened. Billy pays Karen a visit to say thank you.
Elsewhere, it’s Leo’s first day on the market and Martin and Kush warn him to stay out of everyone’s away. Whitney is startled when Leo doorsteps her and asks for a chance to explain everything.

Moira has clearly become her own worst enemy and it’s not long before she is lying in a ditch.
Meanwhile, how will Sarah respond when Danny asks her to deal for him?

Tony is desperate to get home to his kids, while Sylver is annoyed that his mum isn’t around to face the consequences of her actions. Dr Shields thinks Jack should still go to the Algarve for a change of scenery. Darren takes Jack to the ferry terminal but as he boards the boat, Warren is disembarking with the twins.
Later, Tony tells Diane that he wouldn’t have blamed her if she had moved on. He curls up in the corner of the psychologist’s room and worries that he’s never going to get better. Tony warns Diane to keep Edward away from their children.
Mercedes tries to reconnect with Sylver but he doesn’t want to get back with her – his future is with Grace.
Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Karen is worried about Jimmi and later finds a possible lead, a Carl Fincham who she heard threatening Jimmi one evening. Rob says he’ll check it out, but to keep it to herself.
Meanwhile, Zara wants to prescribe something for Daniel’s eye infection, but Bear reminds them you can’t for your family. Zara fails to get an appointment with their GP so Bear suggests a drop in that he knows, Harry Pierce, who is excellent with eyes. Later, Zara discovers that Harry isn’t a GP, but an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She doesn’t appreciate being tricked…
Elsewhere, Valerie takes samples of her DNA for testing as she thinks she might be related to Russian royalty.
