Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 8th January

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

Imran advises Fiz and Tyrone to comply with social services, however Fiz lets the girls in when she finds them in the back yard. The social worker calls at No.9 and tells Fiz and Tyrone she has no choice but to take the girls into foster care. Later, the police pay Fiz and Tyrone a visit and they are they taken in for questioning about the gun used in the shooting.

Meanwhile, Gemma and Chesney attend the Freshco photoshoot set in a posh house. Whilst the photographer takes pictures of the quads, an exhausted Gemma and Chesney fall asleep. Later, Gemma and Chesney return home to be confronted by Dev. Dev demands that Chesney choose between him and the supermarket.

Elsewhere, Leanne is put out when Steve prioritises having Tracy’s kitten chipped over taking Olly to a party. Later, Leanne overhears a conversation between Tracy and Paula and an embarrassed Tracy is forced to explain that her night of passion was a one-off mistake. Amy is unimpressed when she realises that Leanne knows about her mum’s indiscretion.

Also, Aggie is touched that James has recommended her for a Golden Hearts award for her efforts during the Christmas Day shooting. Reporter Suki interviews Aggie who seems reluctant to talk about her nursing past. Imran calls at the hospital with news of Josh’s trial.

Jack is looking after The Dog and tries to lift everyone’s spirits with music and drinks, but he struggles to contain his emotions.
